Around now, all being well, you should be being rewarded with fresh new growth on your pelargoniums. It’s always a bit of a scary moment when cutting them back prior to overwintering – though the plant in the picture got caught by the frost, which rather did the pruning for me (still some nectrotic tissue to cut out. Actually, I’ll do that now...). But even now, in January, these plants are responding to the slowly lengthening daylight.
